Greetings Family and Friends, For the past fifty years, I have been on a journey to my Self. Well, I’ve arrived. While it seems appropriate to quote the phrase “What a long strange trip it’s been,” the past couple of years have been the most interesting of all. It is during these past few years, that I have drawn closest to what I shall term “My Self”, “My Source”. As I drew closer, it seemed a light was brightening before me. This as it turns out, was the Light of Love. With the illumination of this light, I returned to writing. Poetry, as it turns out, is the form that best reflects my thought processes. So poetry it was and is, to the extent that I have compiled a collection of some of my works. Ms Patricia Anez, a native Spanish speaker who was born in Bolivia, has lovingly translated this collection of Poetry. A Spanish version of each poem now appears side by side with my English versions in a wonderful little book titled “Being Love" "Estar Enamorado”. For me, the writing of these poems, as well as the putting together of this book, has been a true labor of love. I believe this is evident in the poetry. This has been my Taj Mahal, my tribute of and to Love. These are heartwarming love poems that reach beyond the romantic aspect alone, to explore Love as the source of life itself. I am very excited about the prospect of being able to share these works with you all. I truly believe that you will be very pleased with what you find within the pages of “Being Love".
